Award-winning photographer and world citizen

My name is Ladka Kurzrock, I was born in the Czech Republic. In 2008 I left my home country and became an expatriate who lived in different parts of the world namely India, China, Australia and currently in Japan. In Sydney I developed further my skills and became a professional photographer.

My work has been exhibited in Europe, the US and in BBC News '“in pictures”. My work has been internationally awarded numerous time. Recently I became a platinum winner by European Photography Awards, honorable mention by International Photography Awards, Chania International Photo Festival in Greece and honoured with an award from Capture Magazine Australia.

What excites me about taking photos is the fact that photos can freeze moments or situations forever. Photos create memories alive and that’s what life is about. With my camera I’m able to be present, visualise, create and connect.
